This product uses genuine wasabi from Shinshu-Azumino, a place noted for its wasabi production. The Shinshu-Azumino wasabi features a fine balance between pungency and mildness, so it is not too hot and very aromatic.
Trivia: this snack was originally manufactured by a different company called Minagawa Seika; however, Echigo Seika inherited it from Minagawa when they went bankrupt.
